Logpond & Sawmill Area 

This mill is actually a reverse image copy of the Master Creations Coon Gap Sawmill, scratch built, using three magazine pictures as guides.  To the left is the logcar unloading area and brow logs.  The log pond is full of logs ready to be floated to the mill.  To the right is the steam generation plant with the two boilers.  The conveyor under the mill goes to the sawdust burner just to the right of the photo.  The cut stone dam is a plaster casting which holds back the log pond.
